The Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) would like to take the opportunity to cordially invite you to a unique upcoming Investment and Cooperation Forum Slovakia 2010 focused on the possibilities of cooperation between foreign investors and regional governments in Slovakia. The forum is organized in cooperation with all eight Slovak Self-Governing Regions.
Since the regional elections gave a chance to new leaders and their visions for an upcoming period, SARIO in cooperation with the representatives of regional governments would like to present you the great possibilities occurring especially in the field of industry, shared services centers and ICT, innovation and R&D as well as tourism in each part of Slovakia.
The forum will take place under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic in Bratislava on March 9th, 2010 in its premises. Presentations and discussion panels will be held in English.
Entry is free of charge.
At the conference each of the eight Slovak Self-Governing Regions will be presented by its top level representative. The representatives will provide information about investment environment including the following:

new particular investment opportunities in Slovak regions focused on industry, shared services centers and ICT, innovation and R&D as well as tourism
-
grants available for the investment projects within mentioned areas in regions
-
real estate information- availability of greenfields, brownfields, offices and real estate suitable for investment inflow to tourism and R&D in the regions
-
detailed information about the labor market, quality and availability of work force in the region
-
detailed information on the region’s economy and prevailing industries
-
assistance and services offered by regional governments to foreign investors
-
development plans of the newly elected leaders for upcoming election period in each region
The seminary will continue by four separate discussion panels dedicated to the current investment conditions and development in the following:

shared services centers and ICT
-
industry (with the focus on energy sector, machinery, automotive industry, electrotechnics and electronics) and industrial parks
-
innovation and R&D
-
tourism
After the discussion panels there will be space available for bilateral discussions on the individual basis between the investors and the representatives of the regions of the Slovak Republic.
We strongly believe that this professional forum will help to show the right direction to the future trends and new possibilities in Slovak investment environment.
